Brodie Rock

Brodie Rock is an exposed pinnacle off Victoria in DFO subarea 19-4, rising from rocky bottom with fishable structure between roughly 15 and 100 feet. The pinnacle concentrates Pacific Halibut through the March to August window and holds Lingcod across their two peaks, November to March and April to June. Chinook Salmon move through the area from June to August, drawn to the current lines that form around the high spot. Tidal flow accelerates over the rock, stacking bait against the structure and keeping fish tight to the pinnacle's edges and shoulders. The outer exposure means conditions shift quickly with wind against tide, and the productive water tends to sit on the transitions rather than directly over the summit.
