Constance Bank is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle rising off Victoria in DFO subarea 19-3, with working depths between 75 and 230 feet. The structure holds Chinook Salmon and Coho Salmon through the summer, with Chinook peaking June through August and Coho running strong from June into September. Pacific Halibut settle onto the surrounding bottom from March through August, while Lingcod show two clear windows, November through March and again April through June. Yelloweye Rockfish hold year-round on the deeper rock. Strong tidal flow across the pinnacle concentrates baitfish along the edges and steeper drops, making depth control over the structure the defining challenge of the spot.
