Hump 0.7 km SW of Goat Island is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Fort Bragg, California, rising through water that runs 70 to 155 feet deep. The structure holds lingcod, which peak in January and February and again from August through September, alongside aggregate rockfish that stay active from April through September. Cabezon work the rock through spring and fall, while Chinook salmon move over the area from April through September. Anglers target the pinnacle's rock with jigging for lingcod using metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs, and take rockfish by bottom fishing with shrimp flies, squid strips, and metal jigs across the deeper edges. Cabezon come on bottom-fished squid, shrimp, and crab close to the structure, and Chinook respond to trolling with anchovies, herring, spoons, and hoochies through the upper water column.
