Fudge Point Hump is a rocky pinnacle in the inner protected waters off Olympia, Washington, within DFO subarea 13, rising through depths of 260 to 660 feet. The structure holds a deep-water mix of Pacific Halibut, Lingcod, Sablefish, and several rockfish species including Pacific Ocean Perch, Yellowmouth, Shortraker, and Darkblotched. Chinook Salmon move through from June to September, marking the peak window for this spot. Anglers targeting Chinook work the pinnacle by trolling with flashers, cut-plug herring, trolling spoons, and hootchies, with mooching whole or cut-plug herring on banana weights and jigging metal or leadhead jigs as supporting approaches. The steep rock relief and protected exposure concentrate fish along the hump's edges, making structure-focused presentations effective across the depth range.
