Annette Point is a rocky drop-off in British Columbia's Gulf Islands, dropping from 260 to 660 feet along a mid-exposure edge where current sweeps baitfish across the structure. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August, with Coho Salmon following from June into October, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and trolling spoons along the break. Lingcod hold on the rock from February through April and respond to metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs worked close to the bottom. Pacific Halibut peak from March to August and are fished by drift jigging with metal jigs, leadhead jigs with soft plastics, or herring across the deeper contours. Copper Rockfish stay present year-round on the same rock and take jigs and soft plastics near the substrate.
