Conconi Reef is a rock pinnacle in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, rising through mid-exposure water across a depth range of 0 to 125 feet. The structure holds lingcod, which peak from February through April, alongside a resident mix of copper, quillback, canary, and China rockfish available year-round. Pacific halibut move through from March into August, while Chinook salmon build from May through August and coho follow from June into October. Anglers work the pinnacle with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs for lingcod and rockfish, dropping deeper along the rock for halibut on drift-jigged jigs or herring. For salmon, trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons over the reef edges covers both Chinook and coho as they pass the structure.
