STRUCTURE
Drop Off
Outer Exposed

Dahdayla is an outer-exposed rock drop-off off La Push, Washington, where the bottom falls from around 5 feet down to 90 feet. The structure holds Chinook Salmon that peak from April through August and Coho Salmon that run strongest May through September, both reached by trolling flashers, hoochies, and trolling spoons along the edge. Lingcod concentrate on the rock through their February to April peak and respond to jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs. Pacific Halibut move through the deeper water from April to August, taken by drift fishing whole herring, salmon bellies, octopus, or squid across the slope. Rockfish, Pacific Cod, Spiny Dogfish, and Pacific Whiting also work the same rocky ground and surrounding depths.
