Jagged Island is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off La Push, Washington, rising through depths of 0 to 55 feet where hard structure concentrates fish across the water column. Chinook Salmon peak here from April through August and Coho Salmon from May through September, both taken primarily by trolling flashers, hoochies, and trolling spoons, with mooching cut-plug or whole herring as a supporting approach. Lingcod hold tight to the rock and peak February through April, responding to jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs. The same pinnacle draws Pacific Halibut from April through August, worked with drift fishing over whole herring, salmon bellies, octopus, or squid, while Black Rockfish stack up June through September and take metal jigs and swimbaits on the drop. Rockfish, Pacific Cod, and Pollock round out the mix over the broken rock bottom.
