Rounded Island is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off La Push, Washington, rising through depths of 25 to 90 feet where current and structure concentrate fish. Chinook Salmon peak from April through August and Coho Salmon from May through September, with trolling flashers, hoochies, trolling spoons, and whole herring working the water column above the rock. Lingcod hold tight to the pinnacle from February through April, taking metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs worked along the structure, while Pacific Halibut move through from April through August on drift-fished whole herring, octopus, and squid. Black Rockfish gather over the rock from June through September and respond to jigged metal jigs and swimbaits, alongside resident Blue, Copper, and Pacific Cod. The exposed position and rocky relief make this a productive stop when conditions allow access to the deeper edges.
