Anderson Point is an outer-exposed rocky drop-off off Neah Bay, Washington, where the bottom falls from roughly 260 to 660 feet. The structure draws Chinook Salmon at their peak from April through August and Coho Salmon from May through September, with both fish taken by trolling flashers, spoons, hoochies, and whole herring or worked closer to the boat by mooching cut-plug herring. Lingcod hold tight to the rock and peak March through May, responding to metal jigs, swimbaits, and lead-head jigs with plastic along the edges of the drop. Pacific Halibut move through from April into July over the deeper flats below the break, where drift jigging leadhead and metal jigs covers ground efficiently. Rockfish and Pacific Cod round out the mix, the latter strongest in the colder months from January through March on jigs and shrimp flies.
