Distances are in a straight line, not by water.

The Duncan Rock Hump is a rocky pinnacle off Neah Bay, rising through an outer, exposed stretch of water where depths run from 55 to 210 feet. The structure holds Lingcod, which peak from March through May, alongside Pacific Halibut in the April through July window and a mix of aggregate rockfish over the same terrain. Chinook Salmon move through from April to August and Coho from May to September, with the pinnacle also giving up Sablefish and Pacific Cod during the January through March cod window. Anglers work the rock for lingcod with metal jigs, swimbaits, and lead-head jigs, while halibut come to drift jigging with leadhead and metal jigs across the deeper edges. Salmon are typically taken by trolling whole herring, spoons, flashers, and hoochies through the water column above the structure.
