Kydikabbit Point is an outer-exposed rocky drop-off off Neah Bay, Washington, where the bottom falls from roughly 260 to 660 feet along a hard rock face. Chinook Salmon move through from April to August and Coho Salmon from May to September, both worked by trolling whole herring, spoons, flashers, and hoochies across the upper water column. The rock structure holds Lingcod at their March to May peak and Black Rockfish from April to September, with jigging metal jigs and swimbaits over the drop-off producing steady results. Pacific Halibut hold along the deeper flanks from April to July, taken by drift jigging leadhead jigs or bait fishing herring and squid near the bottom. Through the colder months of January to March, Pacific Cod concentrate on the same rocky ground and respond to jigged metal jigs and shrimp flies.
