Strawberry Rock is an outer-exposed rock flat off Neah Bay, Washington, holding depths of 40 to 80 feet over hard bottom. Chinook Salmon peak here from April through August and Coho Salmon from May through September, both taken by trolling flashers, spoons, and hoochies or by mooching cut-plug herring. The rock structure draws Lingcod at their March-through-May peak and Black Rockfish from April through September, with jigging metal jigs and swimbaits working the bottom for both. Pacific Halibut move through from April to July and respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs over the flat, while Pacific Cod fill the colder January-through-March window on metal jigs and shrimp flies. The exposed position and rocky relief in this depth band keep the spot productive across a rotating mix of salmon, groundfish, and rockfish through much of the year.
