Waadah Point sits off Neah Bay at the exposed outer edge of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, where a rocky drop-off falls through depths of roughly 260 to 660 feet. The structure draws Chinook Salmon from April through August and Coho Salmon from May through September, both taken by trolling whole herring, spoons, flashers, and hoochies over the ledge. Pacific Halibut hold along the bottom here and peak from April through July, worked with drift jigging using leadhead jigs, metal jigs, and swimbaits. Lingcod stack on the rock through their March-to-May peak and respond to metal jigs, swimbaits, and lead-head jigs with plastic. Pacific Cod fill in the winter window from January through March, with jigging on metal jigs and shrimp flies producing over the same rocky terrain.
