Grays Harbor South Jetty is an outer-exposed rock structure off Westport, Washington, where the jetty's broken bottom holds fish across depths of 10 to 40 feet. Lingcod dominate the winter and early spring fishery, peaking from February through April over the rocky terrain, while Chinook Salmon move through from June to September. Black Rockfish and Cabezon fill out the mix, working the same reef edges and boulder pockets. Anglers targeting lingcod jig metal jigs, leadhead jigs with swimbaits, and bucktail jigs against the structure, or drop live greenling and whole herring for a supporting live-bait approach. For Chinook, trolling whole herring, anchovies, spoons, and hoochies covers water along the jetty, with mooching cut-plug herring an effective alternative on the tide.
