STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Midway Bank is an outer, exposed rocky pinnacle off Westport, Washington, rising within depths of 120 to 300 feet in the Midway Rocks area. The structure holds lingcod, which peak from February through April, alongside cabezon, salmon, and aggregate rockfish that fill out through the summer and peak from June to September. Anglers target the lingcod over the rock with metal jigs, leadhead jigs paired with swimbaits, and bucktail jigs, while live greenling, whole herring, and live perch work as supporting baits along the pinnacle's edges. Rockfish respond to metal jigs, leadhead jigs, swimbaits, and shrimp flies worked through the water column, with herring, squid, and mooched anchovies covering the supporting approaches. The rock relief and exposed position concentrate fish across the deeper end of that 120-to-300-foot range.
