North Jetty sits at the mouth of Grays Harbor near Westport, Washington, a rock corridor reaching out over sand into exposed outer water. The structure holds aggregate rockfish through their peak from June to September, drawn to the broken bottom and current seams along the jetty's edge. Anglers work depths from 10 to 40 feet, where the sand meets rock and fish stage along the corridor. Jigging is the dominant approach here, with metal jigs, leadhead jigs, swimbaits, and shrimp flies covering the water column. Bait fishing with herring, squid, or shrimp flies and mooching herring or anchovies fill in when fish sit tight to the bottom.
