Drew Rock is a rocky pinnacle in British Columbia's Gulf Islands, rising through mid-exposure water at 48.7580, -123.2615 with depths running 5 to 35 feet. The structure holds a dense mix of bottom species, including Lingcod peaking February through April, Black Rockfish from February through October, and Copper Rockfish available year-round, alongside Quillback and China Rockfish, Cabezon, and Kelp Greenling. Jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs works the rock for Lingcod and rockfish, while bait fishing with live greenling, whole herring, or squid takes lingcod holding tight to the pinnacle. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho from June to October, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons over and around the structure. The shallow rock and current lines concentrate fish where the pinnacle breaks the flow.
