About Enterprise Reef

Enterprise Reef is a rock pinnacle in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, sitting in DFO subarea 18-2 at mid exposure with depths running from the surface down to 65 feet. The reef holds lingcod that peak from February through April, alongside a resident mix of canary, quillback, and copper rockfish available year-round. Chinook salmon move through from May to August and coho follow from June into October. Jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs works the rocky structure for lingcod and copper rockfish, while bait fishing with live greenling, whole herring, or squid covers the same bottom. Salmon respond to trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, or spoons across the pinnacle, with mooching cut-plug herring an option when the fish sit deeper on the rock.
