Georgina Shoals is a rock pinnacle in British Columbia's Gulf Islands, rising through mid-exposure water with depths that run from 60 to 180 feet. The structure holds a strong groundfish population, with Lingcod peaking February through April and Black Rockfish available February through October, alongside Copper, China, and Quillback Rockfish across the year. Pacific Halibut move through from March to August, and the salmon season brings Chinook from May to August and Coho from June to October. Anglers work the pinnacle for Lingcod and rockfish with metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and swimbaits over the rock, and drift jigging with jigs or herring covers the deeper edges for Halibut. Chinook and Coho respond to trolling with spoons, hootchies, and herring through the warmer months.
