STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Cutler Rock is an exposed offshore pinnacle off Kyuquot, British Columbia, where rock structure rises through depths of 15 to 125 feet along the outer coast. Lingcod hold on the pinnacle through the spring and summer with peaks from March to May and June to August, while Pacific Halibut work the deeper edges from March to August and Black Rockfish stack up from March to September. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August, alongside resident China Rockfish, Copper Rockfish, and Kelp Greenling. Jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs covers the rock for Lingcod and Black Rockfish, and drift jigging over the deeper flanks reaches Halibut. Trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, or spoons takes Chinook working the exposed water around the structure.
