Graveyard Point is an outer-exposed rocky drop-off off Sayward, British Columbia, where the bottom falls away through depths of 40 to 180 feet. The structure holds Pacific Halibut, which peak from April through August, alongside Lingcod that run strongest from February to April and again in late summer through September. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho follow from June into October, with Pacific Cod and rockfish including canary and redstripe rounding out the catch. Anglers work the drop-off with drift jigging using leadhead jigs, metal jigs, or soft plastic swimbaits for halibut, and jig the rock structure with metal jigs and swimbaits for lingcod. Salmon come to trolling with anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons over the outer edge, while mooching cut-plug herring accounts for Chinook holding along the deeper contours.
