Distances are in a straight line, not by water.

Milly Island Hump is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off Sayward, British Columbia, rising through a depth range of 20 to 265 feet. The structure holds Pacific Halibut, which peak from April through August, alongside Lingcod that come on strongest from February through April and again in August and September. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho from June into October, while the deeper rock supports Rougheye and Darkblotched Rockfish and Pacific Cod. Anglers work the pinnacle for halibut with drift jigging using leadhead jigs, metal jigs, and soft plastic swimbaits, and target lingcod holding tight to the rock by jigging metal jigs and swimbaits or bait fishing with whole herring. For salmon over the same water, trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and trolling spoons covers the range, with mooching cut-plug herring an option when Chinook stack up near the structure.
