Speaker Rock is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Sayward, British Columbia, where the bottom drops through a broad range from 20 to 615 feet. The structure holds Chinook Salmon through their May–August peak and Coho Salmon from June into October, with trolling spoons, hootchies, and anchovy worked across the pinnacle to cover the water column. Lingcod stack up on the rock through the February–April window and again in late summer, taking metal jigs and leadhead jigs dropped tight to the structure, while Quillback Rockfish hold here year-round on similar jigged presentations. Pacific Halibut move through the deeper edges from April to August and respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastic swimbaits along the base of the pinnacle. The vertical relief concentrates fish across shallow and deep zones, so working jigs down through the layered depths and trolling the upper water accounts for the spot's mix of salmon, groundfish, and rockfish.
