Arnet Island is an outer-exposed rocky drop-off off Tofino, British Columbia, where the bottom falls away through depths of 330 to 1310 feet. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho Salmon hold from June to October, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, or spoons across the edge. The deeper structure supports Pacific Halibut, strongest March through June, worked with drift-jigged leadhead jigs and soft plastics or metal jigs along the bottom. Lingcod and Black Rockfish peak May through August and May through September respectively, with Copper Rockfish present across a longer February-to-October window, all responsive to metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and soft plastic swimbaits fished tight to the rock. The steep contour concentrates fish where the drop-off breaks, making depth control over the structure the central concern.
