Grice Point is an outer-exposed rock drop-off off Tofino, British Columbia, falling through depths of 260 to 660 feet. The structure draws Chinook Salmon at their peak from May through August and Coho Salmon from June into October, while Pacific Halibut hold along the bottom with a spring peak from March through June. Lingcod and Black Rockfish work the rock through the May-to-September window, and Copper Rockfish stay active across a long stretch from February to October. Trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, or trolling spoons covers the salmon over the drop, while jigging metal jigs and leadhead jigs down to the rock reaches Lingcod and rockfish. For halibut, drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastics or metal jigs works the deeper bottom, with bait such as whole herring or salmon heads as a supporting option.
