Hump 2.1 km W of Siletz Reef is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off Depoe Bay, Oregon, rising from bottom that runs 85 to 145 feet deep. The structure holds a mix of rockfish—Yelloweye, Widow, Copper, and Canary—alongside Lingcod, Pacific Cod, Pacific Halibut, and Chinook Salmon. Halibut fishing peaks from March through August, best worked by drifting herring, salmon bellies, squid, or octopus across the rock, while jigging with leadhead or metal jigs and swimbaits covers the same water. Lingcod concentrate in February and March and respond to jigging with metal jigs and bucktail jigs, or live bait fishing with greenling and herring over the pinnacle's broken rock. Copper Rockfish hold through the May-to-September window and take metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and curly-tail grubs, and Chinook Salmon in the same months come to trolled whole herring, anchovies, and flashers along the exposed edges.
