Two Arches is an outer-exposed rocky drop-off off Depoe Bay, Oregon, where the bottom falls through 85 to 145 feet along broken structure. Pacific halibut hold here from March through August, with lingcod peaking in February and March and cabezon filling in from July through September. Chinook and coho salmon push through the surface water from late spring into September, worked by trolling whole herring, anchovies, and flashers or by mooching cut-plug herring. Drift fishing herring, squid, and octopus covers the deeper halibut ground along the slope, while jigging metal and leadhead jigs works the rock edges for lingcod and cabezon. The exposed depth and hard bottom also hold aggregate rockfish, Pacific cod, and giant Pacific octopus across the same structure.
