Alden Point Hump is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off Anacortes, Washington, in DFO subarea 7, rising through depths of 30 to 90 feet. The structure holds Pacific Halibut, which peak from March through July, and Lingcod that concentrate here in February and March, alongside Chinook Salmon in the June-to-August window and Black Rockfish through the May-to-August stretch. Anglers drift fishing over the hump for halibut work herring, salmon bellies, squid, or octopus across the rock, while jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs takes lingcod tight to the pinnacle. Chinook come to trolling with cut-plug or whole herring, flashers, and trolling spoons through the surrounding water, and black rockfish respond to jigging with metal jigs and soft plastic swimbaits over the same structure. The pinnacle also supports Pacific Ocean Perch, Copper Rockfish, Canary Rockfish, and Sablefish across its rocky slopes.
