I’ve been using ReelCaster for about a month and I love it! Having all the conditions listed together is really handy and makes deciding when to go a no brainer instead of checking multiple apps and sites to get wind, current, sea conditions and tides. I highly recommend ReelCaster!

ReelCaster has completely changed how I plan my fishing trips. It brings together tides, currents, wind, swell, and water temperature in one place, then pinpoints the best times and locations to fish. It saves me time and gives me real confidence I’m on the water when conditions are ideal.

ReelCaster was very helpful in helping me figure out where and when to fish! I was lucky enough to catch a 7 lb Coho right off the beach. The info that the app provided was really helpful and it saved me the trouble of looking at multiple sources to figure out tides, weather, and regulations.

STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Mid

Little Sister Hump is a rocky pinnacle in DFO subarea 7 off Bellingham, Washington, rising from bottom depths that run 100 to 325 feet at a mid-exposure location. The structure holds Pacific Halibut through their April to August peak and Lingcod across two windows, from November to February and again March to June, alongside resident Canary Rockfish, Pacific Ocean Perch, Rougheye Rockfish, and Sablefish. Chinook Salmon move through from June to September and Coho from June to October, giving the hump a mixed bottomfish and salmon calendar. Halibut respond best to drifting herring, squid, salmon bellies, or octopus over the rock, while jigging with leadhead jigs and swimbaits, metal jigs, or bucktail jigs works the pinnacle for Lingcod, with live greenling or herring drifted as a supporting approach. Salmon are taken by downrigger trolling whole herring, spoons, hoochies, and flashers for Chinook, and by trolling flashers, hoochies, spoons, or cut-plug herring for Coho.
