Elliot Point is a rock drop-off in Marine Area 8-2 off Everett, Washington, where the bottom falls from roughly 260 to 655 feet at mid-exposure. Chinook Salmon are the main summer draw, peaking from June through August, followed by Coho Salmon that hold through their July to October window. Trolling flashers, trolling spoons, and cut-plug herring works the salmon along the edge, while mooching cut-plug or whole herring covers the same water at a slower pace. The rocky structure also holds Lingcod, best from February through April on metal jigs, leadhead jigs with swimbaits, or bucktail jigs worked over the bottom. Pacific Halibut move through from March into July and take drift-fished herring, salmon bellies, squid, or octopus down along the deeper contours.
