Distances are in a straight line, not by water.

Nemah Spit Hump is a rocky pinnacle rising through outer, exposed water off Ilwaco, Washington, with depths spanning 0 to 55 feet across its structure. The rock draws a deep rockfish population alongside Lingcod, which peaks in January and February, while Black Rockfish holds strong from April through August. Chinook Salmon move through in April and again June through September, with Coho Salmon overlapping across the summer months. For Lingcod, jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs works the pinnacle's rock, and Black Rockfish respond to the same jigging approach over the shallower ledges. Salmon are targeted by trolling whole herring, anchovy, flashers, and hoochies through the exposed water above the structure.
