Dofflemyer Point is a mid-exposure drop-off near Olympia, Washington, in DFO subarea 13, where a mixed bottom falls away through depths of 170 to 430 feet. Chinook Salmon peak here from June through September, followed by Coho Salmon from July through October and Chum Salmon from September into December. Trolling flashers, cut-plug herring, trolling spoons, and hootchies works the Chinook run, while mooching whole or cut-plug herring and jigging metal or leadhead jigs cover the same fish along the slope. Coho respond to trolled flashers with hoochies, spoons, and cut-plug herring, with jigging as a supporting option over the drop-off. Lingcod, Pacific Halibut, Black Rockfish, Copper Rockfish, and Leopard Shark also hold on the mixed structure through the deeper end of the range.
