Eastern Bank is a mid-exposure, mixed-bottom ground off Port Angeles, Washington, holding water from 100 to 240 feet. Lingcod are the winter and early-spring draw here, peaking January through April, while Pacific Halibut move through from March into August and Chinook Salmon fill the summer window from June through August. The deep, structured bottom suits jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs for lingcod, with live greenling, herring, or squid working as backup along the mixed terrain. Halibut come on drift fishing across the flats and edges with herring, salmon bellies, octopus, or squid. For Chinook, trolling whole herring, spoons, flashers, and hootchies covers the upper water column, with mooching and jigging as further options.
