STRUCTURE
Drop Off
Mid

Point Robinson is a mid-exposure drop-off off Seattle, Washington, where a mixed bottom falls through depths of 40 to 150 feet. The structure concentrates Chinook Salmon, which peak from July through September, alongside Coho Salmon that run from June through October. Trolling is the dominant approach for both species, working cut-plug herring, whole herring, flashers with hoochies, and trolling spoons along the contour of the drop. Anglers also mooch cut-plug or whole herring through the water column and jig metal or leadhead jigs where salmon hold near the break. The transition from shallow to deep water gives fish a defined edge to stage on, keeping the productive zone tight to the slope.
