STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Eldridge Rock is an exposed offshore pinnacle off Kyuquot, British Columbia, where rock structure rises through a water column that runs 15 to 125 feet. The pinnacle holds a steady population of Lingcod, which peaks from March through May and again from June through August, alongside Canary, Copper, Quillback, and China Rockfish across the same rocky terrain. Anglers work Lingcod with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs over the structure, or drop whole herring, live greenling, and squid tight to the rock. Pacific Halibut show from March through August and respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and swimbaits, while Chinook Salmon (May through August) and Coho Salmon (June through September) move through the outer water and take trolled anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons. The mix of shallow rock and deeper edges lets anglers switch between bottom species and salmon in a single outing.
