Kashutl Inlet Hump is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off Kyuquot, British Columbia, rising through water that runs 100 to 370 feet deep. The structure holds lingcod, which peak from March through May and again from June through August, alongside Pacific halibut in strong numbers from March to August. Anglers work the rock with jigging for lingcod using metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs, while drift jigging with leadhead jigs and swimbaits covers the deeper flanks for halibut. Black rockfish stack up here from March through September and respond to jigging with metal jigs and soft plastic swimbaits over the pinnacle's edges. Chinook salmon move through from May to August and coho from June to September, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons across the exposed water above the hump.
