Warren Rocks is an exposed pinnacle off Kyuquot, British Columbia, rising from rocky bottom on the outer coast where depths range from the surface to about 505 feet. The steep rock structure holds Lingcod, which peak from March through May and again June through August, alongside Pacific Halibut that fish well from March through August. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho Salmon from June to September, with the pinnacle also supporting Rougheye and Sharpchin Rockfish, Pacific Cod, and Sablefish across the deeper contours. Anglers work the rock for Lingcod by jigging metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs, or drop whole herring and live greenling on the structure, while Halibut respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and swimbaits over the bottom. Salmon are taken by trolling anchovy, herring, and spoons through the exposed water, with mooching cut-plug herring an option as fish stack up along the pinnacle.
