Twilight Rock is an outer-exposed pinnacle off Port McNeill, British Columbia, where rock structure rises through depths of roughly 5 to 90 feet. The pinnacle draws Chinook Salmon at their peak from May through August and Coho Salmon from May into September, with both species reachable by trolling whole herring, anchovy, spoons, or flashers with hootchies across the surrounding water. Lingcod hold tight to the rock and respond to jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs during their peaks in February through March and again from June into September. Pacific Halibut move through from May to August and are worked with drift jigging using leadhead jigs and plastic swimbaits over the bottom. Copper and Quillback Rockfish, along with Pacific Cod, occupy the rocky structure through the summer, with Copper Rockfish taken by jigging metal and leadhead jigs from June into September.
