Folger Passage Hump is a rocky pinnacle rising from the outer exposed waters off Ucluelet, British Columbia, with depths running from 160 to 275 feet. The structure holds Lingcod, which peak from March through May, and Pacific Halibut, which peak from April through August, alongside year-round Quillback and Copper Rockfish. Lingcod respond to jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs worked over the rock, while halibut come to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastics or metal jigs across the deeper edges. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho from May to September, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and trolling spoons above the pinnacle. Rockfish stay on the structure through the year and take metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and soft plastic swimbaits along the rock.
