STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Folger Pinnacles is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off Bamfield, British Columbia, rising through waters that run 80 to 180 feet deep. The structure holds Lingcod, which peak from February through April and again from July through September, alongside Pacific Halibut that come on strong from March into August. Chinook and Coho Salmon move through the exposed waters over summer, with Chinook peaking May through August and Coho holding into September, while Rockfish work the rocky terrain from May through September. Anglers target Lingcod and Rockfish with jigging using metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and soft plastic swimbaits worked close to the pinnacle rock, while Halibut respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastics across the deeper margins. Salmon are taken by trolling anchovy, herring, flashers, and hootchies through the current lines that sweep this offshore structure.
