Distances are in a straight line, not by water.

Lepoil Rock Hump is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Eureka, California, rising from depths of roughly 330 to 1,300 feet. The structure holds Lingcod, which peak from January through April and again in September, alongside aggregate Rockfish that hit their stride from May through September, plus Copper Rockfish, Cabezon, and Kelp Greenling on the rock. Pacific Halibut work the area from March through August, while Chinook and Coho Salmon move through the surrounding water from late spring into fall. Jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs works the pinnacle for Lingcod, Rockfish, and Cabezon, and drift fishing with live baitfish, herring, or squid targets Halibut over the deeper edges. Salmon respond to trolling with anchovies, herring, spoons, and hoochies through their peak months.
