About Rybovich Reef
Rybovich Reef is an artificial reef off Jupiter, Florida, within the Southeast Region of Florida's Atlantic state waters. The structure holds a mix of reef and pelagic species, with Common Snook and Gray Snapper peaking from May through July, Mutton Snapper from April through June, and Yellowtail Snapper from May through August. King Mackerel move through in two windows, March to April and October to November, and Crevalle Jack round out the lineup. Bottom fishing with live pilchards, squid, or cut bait works the reef for Gray and Mutton Snapper, while chumming and flatlining with cut ballyhoo or silversides draws Yellowtail Snapper up off the structure. Snook respond to live bait drifting with pilchards, mullet, or pinfish, and slow trolling live goggle eyes or blue runners along the reef targets King Mackerel during their spring and fall runs.
