About Greynolds Park Reef

Greynolds Park Reef is an artificial reef in the Florida Atlantic state waters of the Southeast Region off Miami, where placed structure concentrates snapper, snook, and pelagic predators. Mutton Snapper peak from April through June, while Gray Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, and Common Snook all hit their stride from May through July, and Crevalle Jack patrol the structure as well. Bottom fishing with live pilchards, live ballyhoo, cut bait, or squid works the reef for muttons and grays. Chumming with frozen chum blocks and glass minnows pulls yellowtail up off the structure, and live bait drifting with pilchards, shrimp, or mullet targets snook holding near the reef. From November through March, King Mackerel move through, and anglers slow troll live goggle eyes, blue runners, or pilchards along the edges of the structure.
