Point Doughty Hump is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Anacortes, Washington, rising through depths of 180 to 425 feet in DFO subarea 7. The structure holds Pacific Halibut, which peak from March through July, alongside Lingcod that peak in February and March and Chinook Salmon that peak from June through August. Rougheye Rockfish, Canary Rockfish, Pacific Cod, and Sablefish round out the resident groundfish over the rock. Anglers targeting halibut work drift fishing with herring, salmon bellies, squid, or octopus across the deeper flanks, while jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadheads pulls Lingcod tight to the pinnacle. Chinook come to trolling with cut-plug or whole herring, flashers, and trolling spoons through the exposed water above the hump.
