19-Mile Bank sits in the outer, exposed waters off Westport, Washington, a mixed-bottom rise where depths run from 150 to 300 feet. The structure holds lingcod, which peak from February through April, alongside aggregate rockfish that come on strongest from June through September. Anglers work the deeper bottom with metal jigs, leadhead jigs paired with swimbaits, and bucktail jigs to reach lingcod holding tight to the mixed terrain. Live greenling and whole herring add a supporting option when the bite favors bait over hardware. For rockfish, jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and shrimp flies covers the water column above the bottom, while mooching herring or anchovies works the same structure through changing tides.
