STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Marina Reef is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off Campbell River, British Columbia, rising through depths of 35 to 270 feet. The structure holds Black Rockfish from May through September and Lingcod that peak in May and June and again from August into September, both of which respond to jigging with metal jigs, leadhead jigs, or soft plastic swimbaits over the rock. Pacific Halibut work the deeper margins April through September, taken on drift jigging with leadhead jigs and swimbaits or on bait such as whole herring and octopus. Chinook Salmon move through from June to August and Coho from May to September, with trolling spoons, hootchies, and herring covering the water column above the pinnacle. Copper Rockfish, Blue Rockfish, and Kelp Greenling round out the catch across the reef's rock and depth range.
