Jackson Rock is a rock pinnacle in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, rising through mid-exposure water across a depth range of 0 to 85 feet. The structure holds a strong rockfish population, with Black Rockfish peaking February through October and Copper Rockfish available year-round, alongside Lingcod that peak February through April. Pacific Halibut move through from March to August, and Chinook Salmon run the area from May to August. Anglers work the pinnacle's rock faces and depth breaks with metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and swimbaits for lingcod and rockfish, while drift jigging with jigs or herring covers the deeper edges for halibut. Chinook are targeted by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, or spoons over the same structure.
