Croker Rock is an exposed pinnacle rising from rocky bottom off Port Hardy, British Columbia, with depths running from the surface down to about 150 feet. The structure draws Chinook Salmon and Lingcod through their peak from May to August, Coho Salmon from June to September, and Pacific Halibut across a long window from March to August, with Black Rockfish holding on the rock from May into September. Anglers troll anchovy, herring, spoons, and hootchies for Chinook along the pinnacle's edges, while jigging metal jigs and leadhead jigs with soft plastics works the rocky structure for Lingcod and Black Rockfish. Halibut come to drift fishing with whole herring, salmon bellies, octopus, or squid over the deeper flats below the pinnacle. Pacific Cod and Canary Rockfish also hold on this outer-exposed structure, and the vertical relief concentrates fish across the full depth range.
