Keogh Shoals is an outer-exposed rock pinnacle off Port Hardy, British Columbia, rising through depths of 40 to 180 feet. The structure holds resident Lingcod, which peak from May through August, alongside Quillback, Rosethorn, and Shortraker Rockfish across the rocky terrain. Pacific Halibut work the deeper edges with a March to August window, while Chinook Salmon (May through August) and Coho Salmon (June through September) pass over the shoals. Anglers targeting Lingcod jig metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs with soft plastics over the pinnacle, and drift fishing with whole herring, salmon bellies, octopus, or squid covers the deeper ground for Halibut. Salmon respond to trolling with anchovy, herring, spoons, and hootchies along the exposed structure.
